Before Marcello committed himself fully to music, discipline meant Division I football. After losing his mother to cancer in 2021, it came to mean something entirely different: finding a reason to keep moving forward.

Born in Cincinnati, raised in Akron, and now based back in Cincinnati, Marcello learned the foundations of music at Miller South School for Visual and Performing Arts before attending Archbishop Hoban High School. At 25, the former D1 athlete and youngest of two siblings has turned one of the hardest chapters of his life into a catalog centered on honesty—not an image.

The philosophy is simple: trust God, tell the truth, and create from where you actually are. Marcello doesn’t wait until life makes sense to write about it. His music lives inside the uncertainty, grief, growth, faith, and real-time emotions people often struggle to put into words.

With 60+ songs across streaming platforms, a new album titled TYRIS, and live performances throughout Akron, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Covington, Marcello has developed both the catalog and stage experience of an independent artist actively building his footprint.

For Marcello, authenticity isn’t part of the branding. It’s the requirement.
